Ava's Ten Balloons tells the story of a young girl as she embarks on a fantastical journey of her imagination. Facing obstacles along the way, Ava must rely on her strength, bravery, and knowledge that she is exactly where she belongs and who she is meant to be. The lyrical language holds a cadence that begs to be read aloud. Accompanying the sing-song words are Louise Paris Lazur's beautiful digital art. Ava's Ten Balloons is the first in a series from this new and talented author-illustrator that will quickly become a much beloved story.

 

The wait is over! I am so excited to share my debut book with you!  The message in this story is important for any child, parent, student, or teacher. It's the message I want to leave my own children and the students I teach at school. The message that belief  and courage can take you anywhere and that failing does not mean the end.  It only makes you stronger and makes you push harder to reach that end goal.

All the books I write are for my children. When I give each of them their own book, I will call the books a success, It's not about the copies that are sold, but instead it's about the message. The message is one I want to share.  As all stories should be. Shared with the ones we love.
